XML-RPC enabling for configuration of Windows Live Writer

Setting up a windows live writer account on your PC is one is the most easiest task that you could perform easily, no rocket science involved in it. However their is one issue that uses to occur for very few, while setting up the writer.

What’s the issue involved? Few users uses to face problem with XML-RPC enabling, during their setup process. We will we covering it later while we will be following the steps of configuration.

  1. First of all you need to have a setup of the windows live writer, that you could download from Live Writers site.
  2. Run the setup, and select windows live writer from the options available with the installation.
  3. Now open the installed windows live writer, it will automatically ask for configuration. Below are the screens attached for step by step understanding of this process.

  9. Open the writing settings from your Dashboard>>Settings>> Writing Settings

  10. Create a temporary theme on your local disc, so that you could get the look and feel of your blog while working offline.
