Scribe Fire a Blog Writing Add-On for Firefox

scribe fire logoFew posts back we had covered the windows live writer for writing your blog posts. This time we have explored a new add-on from the vault of Firefox. Scribe Fire add-on is a full featured blog writer that is embedded in your browser only. It removes your dependency on the desktop applications  while you are browsing, you could compose a post while reading tweets from twitter or while chatting with friends in the same browser.

How to get started with the Scribe Fire add-on

  1. Download>> Install>> Restart Firefox
  2. Select the Scribe Fire from the Bar.

  3. Launch account wizard to add a blog in the network.

    Make choice of your blog system
    You are provided with various blogging platform where you want to publish your content. Make a choice suitable for your requirement.
  4. Add your username and password that you uses to login into the blog.

  5. After entering the username and password, it gets verified and a blog is successfully added.

That’s all you are done with the configuration of the scribe Fire add-on and now its ready for publishing.

Take snapshot of entire webpage in Firefox

SnapShotTaking snapshots is always been a challenge especially when you have entire content not showing in the browser. Traditional method followed by 80% of the net users is to take a print screen of the live page and then paste it in paint and than edit is as per the requirement. Most of the time user’s are unsatisfied by the final image coming from the print screen.

Well for the problems we always have a solution; there are two approaches from two browsers. You could take the screen shots from IE and Mozilla Firefox.

Uncover Passwords in forms through Mozilla Add-ons

uncover passwordMozilla Add-ons are something that makes Firefox the best in the league of web browsers for me. Recently, i have tested some of the new add-ons of the firefox. I will be covering all of them in detail over here one by one. The first of these add-ons is uncovered password.

This add-on is handy for those who suffer from typo errors, you enters the password wrong again and again. The reasons are the asterisk and the typo’s that prevent you entering the right password.
