Finding out the square of any number in seconds

We cannot imagine the world without calculations i.e, Mathematics. It is present in all phases of our life. Irrespective of our background or discipline we use it. Now i am going to share with you a small short cut for fast calculation. It is highly useful for the students. Particularly those who are preparing themselves for competitive exam.

Finding out the square of any number in just 20 seconds.

For example let us take 23 and we will find out the square for this number in the easiest and quickest way.

STEPS

A. First reduce the number’s unit digit to zero. In this case it is 20. Now the unit digit is zero or we can simply subtract

3 from 23 it comes to 20.

B. Now we should add back that 3 to 23. The total comes as 26. So we should subtract and add only once.

C. In the third step you will multiply the 2 numbers i.e, 20 and 26. Multiplication of these numbers is 520.

D. Finally we should take the square of digit 3, which we have subtracted first and added again, that is 9.

and should add them 520+9= 529.

Let us take 35 as one more example.

35-5 = 30 and 35+5 = 40

30*40 = 1200

5*5 = 25

1200+25 = 1225.

Happiness comes with your view

Happiness

Happiness, This is not only word. It contains every happy moment in our life.

The moment when we are with our best liked person.
The moment at which all persons in our life are happy

Then why sometimes we become so negative in our life?

The answer will be only conditions in our life ! Everyone knows everyone is having their own luck and view.
In this luck is not in our hand, but our view to see life is in our hand.

There are two types of views:

One is positive view and,
Other one is negative view.

The people who includes positive category they won’t scare to any obstacles in their life, they just face whatever the condition may be.
And in negative type category people just scare to face their problems, they think to get failures ad escapes rather than facing problems.

Taking an Example:

There are two men one is positive and another is Negative.
Both are not having proper education, not having proper job, proper salary.
But even if their conditions are same, their view towards life is different.

Positive men thinks i can do better than this, I will do a job right now, then I will complete my education.
Instead of this Negative will think, I can’t do this, I don’t have money, i don’t have power, i am unable to do this work.

Because of positive approach positive men get success in his work and because of negative approach negative men get failures and escapes.

Conclusion

From this story we learn that whatever may be the condition in our life we should at least try for that. Don’t give up any time.

Life is so beautiful, Just enjoy every moment. Then your life will be life a heaven.
Finally what is right path to live our life with happiness??
Its “POSITIVE VIEW”

Positiveness in every move

People often seem to upset with small things. We fail to recognize the opportunities around us instead we complain about the things. Here i am just giving an example as how to look other side of the things with a positive approach.

Experiment:

In a class room lecturer was trying tell his students about how to see the opportunities in a complex situation. He wanted to explain this with a demonstration so he asked one of his students to get him a bog scoop and 2 or 3 Golf ball. Firstly, he put all balls to the scoop and asked students was that scoop could be filled with more balls. In a chorus every student said that ‘NO WAY’. But the lecturer got some pebbles and put into the scoop. Students were amazed.

Next he asked the same question to all the students. This time students were bit careful and they told ’YES’ and filled the scoop with smaller pebbles. Furthermore lecturer stood again and asked the same question by this time students were thought there was no place to fill anything in the scoop and they said it is impossible.

Eventually, lecturer took some sand in his hand and spilled it into the scoop. Students were dumbfounded !!. Students thought this could be the last stage but it was not. He again poured water into it making it complete.

Conclusion

After the experiment he articulated to each and every student of the class ” in the worst of the worst stage also you have the opportunity to come up and show the world who you are”.

INNOVATION V/S INVENTION

Do you know why the technology product life cycles are measured only in months? Why are some of their amazing features almost be impossible to use?

Let us consider the mobile phones. Have you ever tried to use the acclaimed web browsing feature from a cell phone or tried to plug it in your notebook? Or ever counted how many clicks n commands it takes to access any function on your cell phone? Ever have you made a “conference call”? Even if you know that this feature exists. Don’t you?

Ok let us take the case of cameras. Many of us are using multi-million pixel cameras. Once you are back from your vacation, how do you sort the pictures? How do you actually know what a picture contains in which all the file names are given cryptic numbers? Trust to arrange them and make an album of them? If you are using a much vaunted camera phone, should it not be easier to download these pictures directly to a wire free device that can make prints for you?
Even though Printing is an easier task how difficult can it be to print address labels in fabulous 300-dpi colors’ at 10pages per minute? But wait. If you want to print directly on envelopes using Microsoft outlooks contact list, you cannot do it unless you first create a mail merge document a task as easy and enjoyable as changing the spark plugs on your car every time you want to start it.

The lesson is that while hardware and software technology companies are far more sophisticated today than they were a decade ago, they have been so busy. Inventing that they have not paid enough attention to “INNOVATION”.

Innovation is the process of applying ingenious ideas to great inventions so that they become usable by normal people like us. For example when Timberness Lee invented the internet. It was largely useless to most of us till innovators like MarkAndressen of Netscape. LeryYang of Yahoo! And designs of others created applications that opened doors to this brand new world. It was the “INNOVATIVE” adaptation of a simple hard drive technology that brought us the i pod.
So let us hope that this coming decade is one where innovation finally overtakes invention

Preparation :

Dampen feet and rub on a scrub to slough off dead skin. Rinse, pat dry.

Steps:

1. Trim nails with clippers so that they just extend slightly beyond the tops of your toes. Then file nails into squares with rounded edges and glide over with a buffer to even out any ridges on the surface.

2. Massage lotion into feet and lower legs. Make circular motions with your knuckles, applying more pressure to arches and calves to undo tension.

3. Gently push back cuticles with a wooden cuticle stick. Do three light pushes on big toes and one on each of your others. (Never cut cuticles as they prevent bacteria from getting under your skin) Soak a cotton pad in polish remover, and wipe nails to create a clean canvas.

4. Apply two coats of polish- bright hues.

5. Seal with a top coat. Let dry for 30 minutes or blast with cool air from a dryer to speed it up.

Now you are done with your spa-perfect pedicure.

Its time to check your closet : Here are some rules that can make you look slimmer but along with these rules there are some exceptions as every look doesn’t work out well on every body shape. We all know every woman wants to look slimmer, its one thing that can never change over time. So just keep these caveats in mind and you won’t end up repenting your dressing sense.

Rule 1 : Vertical stripes make you look longer and slimmer.

Exception : All over lines will turn you into a circus tent! Sport stripes in small doses only.

Exception : It works if your pants hit at the hip, but with high-waisted styles, a belt thickens your mid-section.

Rule 3 : Wide-legged pants conceal fuller thighs.

Exception : Skip this look if you are short. The roomy cut will give legs a stumpy effect.

Rule 4 : Wear all one color to appear taller and sleeker.

Exception : Avoid head-to-toe light hues(they’ll make you look bigger) and shiny fabric (it highlights lumps and bumps).

Rule 5 : Ruffled tops enhance a small chest.

Exception : If you have too much volume, you will get lost in all that fluff. Keep it simple.

High heels are girl’s best friends as they add centimetres and take off kilos. So don’t forget to wear stylish high-heels as high-heels add glamour to any outfit. Give preference to pointed shoes as they elongate your figure.
