Alexa incomplete dashboards
It was a mixed up day for me with alexa ranks and its data retrieval in its web dashboards. I received my yesterday rank on alexa as 96,212, while on the other hand i founded a bug in data retrieval for the dashboards textual region.
The graphs were showing the statistics on the dashboards, while missing out the textual details of the graphs. I checked it for two sites colorsofnet.com and google.com, the results were same. The textual portion of the reports were missing except the Sites Linking In and Online since data.

On analyzing the results we founded that all the dynamic content was down from the dashboards, or more specifically we can say that the data gathered on the daily basis was unable. The data for Sites linking in is captured on quarterly basis and similarly for online since and yes the data entered by the users was also available.

There was one more interesting thing that we analysed was the sparky addon’s were displaying the site ranks finely uneffected by its parent site issues. Well this is something that we can’t expect from big organizations like Alexa; but it was seen twice in a day at an interval of three hours. There might be a feeling that i am making a ado, but just imagine google going down for few hours.
